Counting on the 12s: Go Hawks

12th Man

We’re lucky to have the best 12 fans in the country. The City of Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks encourage every fan to act responsibly before, during, and after the game. With all eyes on Seattle, let’s honor our city and the spirit of our outstanding team.

Please don’t forget to celebrate safely this weekend:

  • Have a plan for a safe ride home, before the event begins. Designate a sober driver, or plan another way to get home safely.
  • If you don’t have a designated driver, take public transit, call a sober friend or a cab or stay put.
  • Don’t let friends drive if they have had too much to drink.
  • Keep the numbers for local cab companies handy, and take the keys away from anyone who has had too much to drink.
  • Download bus or cab or ride apps to help.

The Seattle Police Department will field an extra-staffed DUI Squad for emphasis patrols on Super Bowl Sunday.  We encourage all drivers to exercise prudence in regards to their alcohol consumption. The consequences of driving while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs can be life altering.

Our goal is to have a safe and enjoyable Super Bowl for everyone. Go Hawks!
