GarbageCanWith snow and slush in the overnight forecast, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is advising customers to treat Friday as a normal day for garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste collection.

Please put your garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste out by 7 a.m. to ensure pickup. If your collection is missed, please leave your materials out for one more day. If your materials still have not been collected by 5 p.m. Saturday, please bring them inside until your next regularly scheduled pickup day.

Christmas Day to Impact to Collection Next Week: No garbage, yard waste or recycling collections are scheduled in Seattle on Wednesday, December 25. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collections will be collected one day later that week due to the Christmas Day holiday. Please be sure to have your containers available by 7 a.m., to ensure collection.
